Dan and Eglantine have a passion for BBQ’ing the Southern African way, but their mix of French and South African heritage makes their social get togethers something uniquely special. Even their 5 year old loves collecting sticks for kindling, and loves her dads Fries on the Braai.

“My favourite food on the BBQ is a T-bone steak with fries in a cast iron pot. My daughter is a big fan of BBQ fries! For the seasoning, I keep it simple, using braai salt for the steak (sea salt with some spices – mainly mustard powder) and Steer’s seasoning salt for the BBQ fries (a mix of salt, black pepper, paprika & garlic powder.)”
